News From Mrs. Bethune:
Hello all,
We have had a great “short” week getting ready for our feast day! The halls are decorated with St. Patrick’s day decorations and the students have high energy in preparation for the big festival this weekend. Thank you for your support and help selling raffle tickets and for purchasing punch cards for the big day. If you were not planning on coming, I ask you to consider. It is one of the best days we have as a parish community and your presence would make it even better!
We have a lot coming up in the coming two weeks. I will be at a national conference with two of our teachers from Wednesday, March 23rd to Monday, March 28th. It is a wonderful opportunity for us to see and hear new ideas that we can bring back and share with the students and staff of our great school. It is also a great time for us to share our story and what we are doing at our school that makes us such a great place. The funding for the conference is paid for from federal funds that we receive that can only be used for the professional development of the teachers and staff. We are so thankful for this once in a lifetime opportunity.
If you have not signed up to help with the playground installation yet, I ask you to do that soon. There will be a letter coming home in the coming days that will outline a little bit more about each job individually and help you determine which area you will best fit your skill set. There is a job for everyone! We are so excited about this new opportunity for our students and families.
God Bless,
Mrs. Bethune

4. Plaid dresses
5. Cowboy boots
6. Work boots

Love,

St. Patrick Carnival Help
Carnival punch cards are still available for purchase next week all day Tuesday and Wednesday until 2pm in the school office. The 20 count punch cards are $5 each if bought at school and games are usually 2 punches each.
They will be $6 the day of the carnival. Please see flyer for carnival details. Thanks for supporting our annual fundraiser!
If anyone is available on Friday, March 16th to help set up the carnival games, we would really appreciate the help. Younger kids are welcome to help with a parent and junior high kids could be dropped off to help so long as they behave and actually help. No time for shenanigans this day. The more people we have, the less time it takes. We will start around 9am. Please help if you can! Thanks!
We have 30 shifts left to fill in order to keep all of the games running during the whole carnival. We don’t want to disappoint the kids, so PLEASE consider working shift. They will be shut down if no one can work them. Your child may help as long as you are with them. This is a great way to fill service hours for various organizations. I am willing to sign forms. Please also talk to your friends and family and ask them to help. My contact info is on the form.
