CONTENTMENT

"No one longs for what he or she already has, and yet the accumulated insight of those wise about the spiritual life suggests that the reason so many of us cannot see the red X marks the spot is because we are standing on it. The treasure we often seek requires no lengthy expedition, no expensive equipment, no superior aptitude or special company. All we lack is the willingness to imagine that we already have every thing we need. The only thing missing is our consent to be where we are." - Taylor

As we are stepping forward into the new year with new goals, dreams, motivations, etc. I believe this quote is wise to reflect on as we chase our dreams. Human drive is essential for success and survival; however, we often rely sole on that rather than God's provision and plan. As you move throughout the year remember that God has you where you are on purpose and for a purpose. This concept doesn't mean it is wrong to advance, search, hope, etc. However, it does mean to remember the sovereignty of God and to rest in his timing for your life!

I hope this quote is insightful to you as it was for me!

SHILOH CHRISTIAN GLOBAL MISSION EXPERIENCE!

This past week our GME Teams arrived back in the United States filled with the Gospel! Our Global Mission Experience is a part of our Senior Capstone Program where we challenge our seniors to actually live out our mission statement as a school! This year our teams went to Brazil, Peru, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico! Each trip was unique and amazing! We are so proud of our students, leaders, and our partners on the ground for all of the Kingdom work they accomplished! I don't know of many students across the nation that get an opportunity to share Christ like this during the school year! Below are a few pictures from each trip!
