What is a Purple Loosestrife?
The Purple Loosestrife is a plant that grows on ditches. it grows to 1 to 2 meters tall forming all kind of other cones around it in other ditches. It is a weed that looks like a flower which has a horizontal underground stem it is called a rhizome, can produce 30 to 50 erect stems. The stem of the Purple loosestrife is wood and square. Each of this plant can form Purple Loosestrife up to 2.5 meters high and 1.5 meters wide. Each of these weeds has 5 to 7 pink and purple coloured pedals.

Why is the Purple Loosestrife used you say? The Purple Loosestrife is now used in hospital for decoration. The Purple Loosestrife is a wetland plant. The native found in Europe and Asia that was brought to North america in the early 19th century.
