Aphid Damages
An aphid damages a plant by sucking all the sap out of a plants leaves through the phloem and the xylem. Doing This can cause a stunted growth, mottled leaves, and low plant yields.
Control
For large production crops like corn, applying insecticides will help combat aphids. For plants like roses in your garden you should apply a strong stream of water on the plant leaves each day.
