COVID-19 Information
Since we just recently came off of an extended weekend, I felt it was a good time for me to provide some information that may be new to you or just important reminders.
- All individuals must wear a mask when in the building. Please send your student to school with a mask.
- Students should not come to school when they are ill or symptomatic.
- If your student will be out of school, please call the attendance line.
There is a great deal of information on the district website https://www.sd308.org/Page/25868 , which includes the safety plan, a way to monitor district COVID-19 metrics, and some FAQs.
In addition, the district sends out parent emails as well which have some information you may find useful. The informatin below was included in the September 3 Parent Update Newsletter:
COVID-19 Metrics & Reporting
Weekly metrics of positive and quarantined students and staff are reported online at www.sd308.org/metrics.
Any positive case of COVID-19 or close contact with a person positive for COVID-19 should be reported to the district as soon as possible. You can find the reporting link on the district homepage, or by visiting www.sd308.org/reporting.
Symptomatic students should be kept home, and their symptoms reported to the attendance line at their school. It is recommended that all persons experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 be tested or evaluated by a medical provider, if not tested or released by a medical provider, they must stay home for 10 days.
