O'Neil's News

Field trips are exciting educational experiences students and staff look forward to every year. The trips encourage our students to connect their learning in school to real world experiences. These trips are rich with opportunities for students to create long lasting memories.

There are two over night field trips planned with our students this year. The 3rd grade will tour the Mackinac area and attractions in the Upper Peninsula. Some highlights include: Mackinac Island, Mill Creek, Colonial Michilimackinac, and Hartwick Pines State Park. The trip this year is May 25 & 26.

The 6th grade students and teachers are preparing for their annual Kimball Camp trip on May 24, 25 and 26. Kimball Camp is a beautiful facility in Reading, Michigan that focuses on outdoor educational experiences in the areas of Michigan history, hands on science and team building. The 6th grade students had their first camp meeting on Friday. We will hold a parent meeting on March 22 at 6:30 PM in the CUES Library. Staff members from Kimball Camp will be available to provide you with information about what your child will experience.
