October

September was a wonderful month at Jeffrey Clark School. Strong classroom routines are established and we are proud of all of our students. Students enjoy the school day in all locations: homeroom, lunch, recess, Strings in second grade, STEAM, and Special Areas. Thank you for your continued support and partnership in 2022!


October has many exciting events and activities. We begin with the Week of Respect on October 3rd. Professional Development for our Teaching Staff will occur on October 10th. This is also Columbus Day. The building is closed to our students on October 10th. Fall Picture Day is October 13th. Fire Prevention Day and assemblies are on October 14. Halloween will end our month on Monday, October 31, with classroom parties and our school parade. A schedule of events is below.

Hooray, hooray! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to the Jeffrey Clark School! Students are invited to shop during their library classes from Wednesday, October 12 - Tuesday, October 18. It would "BEE" wonderful to have your help!

Please complete this form by Friday, October 14th. Hispanic Heritage Month

Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15 to October 15 and offers us the opportunity to recognize the contributions of Hispanic Americans to U.S. culture. Please see one display from the Clark building.
