Lead is a highly toxic metal and lead poisoning is a serious condition. It occurs when lead builds up in the body. It causes severe damage. It can be found in lead-based paints, including paint on the walls of old houses and toys. Some lead is also found in the ground.
Who Is At a Higher Risk Of Getting Lead Poisoning?
Toddlers are at a higher risk of catching lead poisoning if they live in old houses with peeling lead paints. They also crawl and are known for putting things in their mouth constantly.
What Are The Signs of having Lead Poisoning At A Young Age?
The symptoms of having lead poisoning at a young age is developmental delay, learning difficulties, vomiting and a lot more symptoms in children.
