Signs or Symptoms of Retinitis Pigmentosa
How do I know if I have it?
There are 4 symptoms that show if you have Retinitis Pigmentosum:
- Visual loss, usually peripheral
- Spontaneous flashes of light
- Night blindness (Nyctoplia)
- Cone-rod dystrophy
Are there any cures or treatments?
Sadly, there are no known cure but, there are multiple treatments such as light avoidance, vitamin A, and high doses of vitamin E. These treatments only slow down the process.
