ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
SIGN LANGUAGE CLASS TEACHES 2nd GRADE!
Last week, a very special collaboration took place on campus. The Middle School Sign Language elective class met with 2nd Grade students to teach them how to sign "Go Now in Peace" and other common signs. The result was nothing short of the most phenomenal example of 21st Century Learning EVER! There was Collaboration, Creativity, Communication, Critical Thinking Skills.... and friendship, and laughter, and that feeling which only occurs after a very special shared experience! Middle School students were patient, funny, and inspiring in their teaching. 2nd Grade students were eager, enthusiastic, curious learners. Below are photos and videos of this POWERFUL lesson!!!!
