Library Redevelopment

Redevelopment Plans

Plans for our library redevelopment have begun! To get a feel for the future vision, stop by and take a look at the mood boards this Friday, November 16th at the Fair.

Can't make it to the fair? No problem, the boards will be in the school office from next week.

Library Happenings...

Story-telling with Martha Keswick

This month we welcomed visiting author, Martha Keswick to our library. She held a bilingual story-telling session for Years 4, 5 and 6 in Mandarin and English about her new graphic novel series, Pangu. Martha is well-known for her Max and Mei series, so we were excited to learn more about her Pangu series. Learn more about Pangu here -

Please contact the library for an order form if you are interested in ordering any of Martha's books. Martha will personally sign all books ordered. All orders need to be in by Thursday, November 22 please.

Parent Lending Section in Library

New books in the library just for parents!

We have a selection of books in the library available for parent-only borrowing. These have been purchased by the PTA and the school and cover a range of different topics.
Parents can borrow these books through their child's account.
Please see the library staff for assistance.

Guest Speakers

This week we were thrilled to have Year 3 and their parents join us in the library for several different guest speakers, including a Diwali story-telling session. Year 3 also invited Eco Marine and Hong Kong Dolphin Watch to speak about sea life, which connects with their current unit of inquiry.

If you are coming in to help in your child’s classroom, please consider staying an extra 30 minutes and come to help us in the Library! We need help covering fabulous new books, re-shelving books, and we have lots of other little jobs that help us get it all done and keep our library in great working order.
