Pfeiffer It's Time to celebrate!!

I’m pleased to let you know Ohio’s State Board of Education has granted our school a 2017-2018 Momentum Award. Now in its fourth year, the Momentum Award is the State Board’s way of recognizing schools that received A’s on every Value-Added measure included on the Ohio School Report Cards.

As a Momentum Award winner, our school’s report card shows our school is committed to its students’ success by ensuring students exceeded the growth expectations in English Language Arts and Mathematics. We also congratulate you on recruiting and motivating the high-quality leaders and staff needed to make this happen. This can only be attributed to the dedication of our teachers, parents, and students!!

Let's Celebrate Again!!

As an Overall A Award winner, our school’s report card shows our school is demonstrating high academic performance and building bright futures for students of every background and ability level. Congratulations on this impressive achievement!

Ohio’s strategic plan for education, Each Child, Our Future, is the state’s plan to ensure each student is challenged, prepared and empowered for his or her future by way of an excellent prekindergarten through grade 12 education. Our mission is to prepare students for a future that has yet to be written. Many consider this to be a daunting endeavor. Our education team made up of staff, parents, and students, however, has clearly embraced this challenge.

Ending the Week in Style

We will end our week with some fun. On Wednesday, we will have a PJ Day at Pfeiffer, Thursday we will wear Holiday colors, and Friday will be Holiday attire/outfits such as santa hats, shirts, sweaters, etc... Friday we will also have an all school choir and band concert for all kids. The students will also decorate a cookie in the afternoon and have some fun in their communities. Thank you to PATS for sponsoring the fun.

General Mills Box Tops Collection Contest

It’s time to start collecting! We will be collecting General Mills Box Tops to raise money for our 5th and 6th graders at Pfeiffer. The proceeds are used by the PATS parent organization to support the many different activities and programs throughout the year. In the past, these funds have been used to purchase playground balls, storage carts, games for use during inside recess, and lots more. For each box top collected our school will receive 10 cents. At the end of the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th 9 weeks the 5th and 6th grade homerooms that have collected the most will receive a special treat.
