April is National Poetry Month

April 27th is National Poem In Your Pocket Day

Students can recite a poem or carry a poem in their pocket and receive treats for sharing them with teachers and staff. I'll provide candy in the Media Center. Also students who check out poetry books will get treats, as well.

Open Ebooks

Open eBooks is an app containing thousands of popular and award-winning titles that are free for children from in-need households. These eBooks can be read without checkouts or holds. Children from in-need families can access these eBooks, which include some of the most popular works of the present and past, using the Open eBooks app and read as many as they like without incurring any costs.

I have access codes for elementary, middle and high school collections. Download the app.
