Summer Learning 2022
Parents,
There are only a few slots left for our Summer Learning Program, so act fast. Complete this electronic form to show interest in this summer's SEA program.
This summer’s learning experience for Gwinnett elementary and middle school students will offer enrichment and acceleration opportunities as well as support for our students who did not meet requirements for promotion to the next grade. Learning will either be accelerated to look ahead at what students will be learning at the next grade level or support will be provided to help students meet promotion requirements. Students will work in flexible learning groups and teachers will share information in new ways to help prepare students for the coming school year. In addition, all students in SEA will participate in enrichment activities. Fun and engaging learning opportunities will cover subject areas typically offered in Specials and Connections courses. Learn more about the program on the Frequently Asked Questions webpage.
Transportation and meals (breakfast and lunch) are provided. Elementary school students will attend the free Summer Learning SEA program at Dyer ES from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the three-week session (June 13-July 1). June 20 is a school holiday.
All classes during the three-week period are in person. If space allows we will contact you about registration in the order in which they are received.

CDC International Travel Recommendations
You might have been exposed to COVID-19 on your travels, whether you traveled by air, land, or sea. You might feel well and not have any symptoms, but you can still be infected and spread the virus to others. For this reason, CDC recommends the following:
ALL Travelers
- Get tested with a COVID-19 viral test 3-5 days after travel.
- Find a U.S. COVID-19 testing location near you
- Self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms; isolate and get tested if you develop symptoms.
- Follow all state and local recommendations or requirements after travel.
If You Are NOT Fully Vaccinated
In addition to the recommendations above
· Stay home and self-quarantine for a full 5 days after travel.

For international travel, according to the CDC, you are considered fully vaccinated:
· 2 weeks (14 days) after your dose of an accepted single-dose vaccine
· 2 weeks (14 days) after your second dose of an accepted 2-dose series
· 2 weeks (14 days) after you received the full series of an accepted COVID-19 vaccine (not placebo) in a clinical trial
· 2 weeks (14 days) after you received 2 doses of any “mix-and-match” combination of accepted COVID-19 vaccines administered at least 17 days apart*
