Learning Commons Intern
About Me
Hi! My name is Emily Black, and I am a graduate student at the University of South Carolina. This is my final semester in the Master's of Library and Information Science program. I hope to obtain a job as a school library media specialist for the upcoming school year.
This spring, I am interning with Sharmen Oswald in the Learning Commons. I plan to use this experience to put theory into practice and learn as much as possible about all aspects of school librarianship.
I received my undergraduate degree in Secondary Education Social Studies from Clemson University. (I know, I know--Clemson and then USC. It has made for a bit of an identity crisis; however, my blood continues to run orange!)
In my free time, I enjoy running, reading, and playing the piano.
