Exciting news for Science and Math departments...GIZMOs
GIZMOs (ExploreLearning.com) software licenses have been purchased for all CTMS students! This means students can conduct virtual labs, manipulatives and educational games for the Texas TEKs.
For example, watching a plant grow with different variables that would
take 4 months can now be done in 20 minutes.

Housekeeping
- Check with Brendon to make sure that your door windows are in compliance. Many have decorated or covered their windows with so many things that it is hard to view in from the outside. The only time the windows need to be covered is during a lock down. Bottom windows are ok to be covered.
- Still seeing several students coming to class late and their teacher is not issuing them a lunch detention. Remember how important those 47 minutes of class time are. The lunch detention provides consequences that will hopefully deter the behavior. But if we are not consistent, the behavior will continue or worsen.
- Teachers let's respect our colleagues by not holding your students after the bell. Let's plan to close our lessons/ and classes in a way that doesn't interfere with their next class. Don't eat anyone else's skittles :)
