- Wind Ensemble rehearsal during 5th period for YOSA Invitational - senior please make plans to attend
- Wind ensemble students will take their 6th period final during the 5th period final time if not exempt from 6th period final
- Wind Ensemble YOSA Invitational Performance 3 pm @ Tobin Center
- Everything must be removed from all band lockers
- 2023-24 Student Leadership Team meeting, 8:25 AM, band hall
- Last day of school - lost and found gets donated at the end of the day
Friday, May 26th
- Graduation Rehearsal for Wind Ensemble, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
- Wind Ensemble Performs at Graduation, 8 pm, Wolf Stadium
- TSSEC day 1 - Dos Tiempos trumpet quartet and solos

YOSA Invitational
Schedule for Tuesday, May 23rd
- 11:55 am - Go to A lunch
- 12:30 pm - Report to Band Hall and change into tuxes/dresses
- 1:15 pm - Leave DHS
- 2:00 pm - Arrive at Tobin Center
- 2:30 pm - Warm up
- 3:00 pm - Performance
- 3:30 pm - Picture
- 4:00 pm - Departure
- 4:45 pm - Back at DHS and change out of tuxes/dresses
- ~5:00 pm - Parent Pick up
Students need to bring these items with them to school on Tuesday.
- Black dress shoes (closed toe), black crew length socks or hosiery, white undershirt for boys.
- We will not be change out of tuxes and dresses after our performance in an effort to get students home as early as possible Friday night.
Graduation
Schedule for Friday, May 26th
- Call time for graduation, 5:30 pm - eat dinner before arriving
- Graduation, 8 pm, Wolf Stadium
- Approximate parent pickup, 10 pm
Students need to bring these items with them on Friday.

Schedule for Monday, May 29th
- 5:15 am - Call time @ DHS and load percussion instruments under the charter bus
- 5:45 am - Leave for Hendrickson HS
- 7:45 am - Arrive at Hendricks HS
- Noon - Leave Hendrickson HS - stop for food/fun on the way home (bring $, per diem provided)
- ~5 pm - Parent pickup
We will not be providing transportation to Austin for events on Saturday, May 27th.
June Camp
Our June Marching Band Camp is May 30th-June 1st from 9 am-4 pm at DHS. This is required for all students participating in band or color guard during the 2023-2024 school year. Please bring water, snacks, lunch, and your instrument. We will have school owned instruments available. Students winds and percussion need to wear tennis shoes, a plain white tshirt, and athletic shorts. All color guard need to wear their new rehearsal attire - black shirts and athletic shorts.
All students need to arrive at 8:30 am on Tuesday if you need a school owned instrument. We will all start together with a student meeting at 9 am in the band hall.
School Owned Instruments
All trombone players are being asked to play marching baritone next year. We are doing this because marching all baritones and no trombones allows our drill writer to give all low brass students the same opportunities with their drill. It also reduces the wear and tear on trombone slides.
Parent Preview Performance and Meeting
Band Registration
Band Registration is Saturday, June 3rd and is required for all students participating in band or color guard during the 2023-2024 school year. We will be collecting fees, getting fitted for our marching band uniform, and ordering uniform parts.
Here are times for registration. You can come at any time during the hour assigned. We do not recommend everyone show up at the top of every hour.
8:30 - SLT Registration
9 am - Seniors
10 am - Juniors
11 am - Sophomores Last names A-L
Noon - Sophomores Last names M-Z
1 pm - Lunch Break
2 pm - Incoming Freshmen Last names A-D
3 pm - Incoming Freshmen Last names E-M
4 pm - Incoming Freshmen Last names N-Z
The fair share fee will be $300 again next year. We will release the list of required apparel next weekend with costs. Our online store for required uniform items will be open starting the week of May 29th. Returning members, please begin finding your uniform items from this year and see if they still fit.
