The Sticky Fingers Club is from 3:00-4:00pm. Parents can pick up their children at the Main Entrance at 4:00pm.

Last week Mr. Brewster and Mrs. Gajewski held assemblies for every grade level. We reviewed the 4 Be's of Kingsley (Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Kind). Our Principal Advisory Council shared their videos demonstrating expected and unexpected behaviors, and we are very proud of the work this group did.

We are excited to start the BINGO Boards this week. Students who demonstrate the 4 Be's can be directed to add their names to the board over two weeks. Any adult in the building can "catch" a student and celebrate their choices by being added to the board. Mr. Brewster and Mrs. Gajewski will play BINGO and invite students whose names are in the chosen squares to the office for a prize. This cycle will repeat every two weeks.

While we will continue our Positive Office Referrals, we are excited that the BINGO Boards will reach a wide group of children who deserve recognition for going above and beyond. Please ask your child about the assembly, the 4 Be's, and the BINGO Board.

If inclement winter weather prompts District 58 to close its schools and facilities, the District will notify families and staff as soon as possible using a variety of communication tools. Please note, extreme weather is very unpredictable, and the decision to close schools is typically not able to be made until the morning of the event. District 58 will only send a message if schools will be closed. Otherwise, the day will proceed as usual.

We ask that all Kingsley families please be considerate of the neighbor's driveways. If you need to park your car, please do not block the driveways. Our neighbors need to be able to enter and exit their driveways as needed.

As a reminder, the parking lot is closed during arrival and dismissal. This allows district buses and vans to complete their routes. Also, for the safety of students, we do not want them walking through the parking lot with moving vehicles.

These procedures allow for the safety of our students and neighbors. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Elementary:

Kindergarten (AM Only) - 8:15am-11:20am

Grades 1-6 and OKEEP - 8:15am-3:00pm

Professional Learning Mondays (K-8)

Kindergarten (OKEEP) -6th grade: 2:00p.m. dismissal

AM Only Kindergarten will dismiss at regular time 11:20a.m.
