DESCRIPTION

The wavelengths that are usually most visible to the naked-eye.

All the lights are the color of the rainbow and all colors combined make a white light

KEYTERMS

NM (Nanometer) unit of length in the metric system. Equal to one billionth of a metre.

THz (Terahertz): is a unit of electromagnetic (EM) wave frequency equal to one trillion hertz. THz is used as a measurement of the frequency of infrared (IR), visible, and ultraviolet (UV) radiation.

A typical human eye will respond to wavelengths from 390 to 700 nm.

Velocity at which the resistance due to air molecules hitting the object exactly equals the force of gravity.
