Public gets chance to vote on College Station schools calendar

The district will post those options on its website,, early next week for students, parents, community members and business owners to vote and comment on.

Bengal Belles dancing @ Macy's thanksgiving day parade

Eight members of the Bengal Belles Drill Team were lucky enough to be chosen to represent their school and the Brazos Valley in The Big Apple. The College Station natives entertained the crowds at this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. Now these A&M Consolidated dancers aren't newcomers when it comes to the parade. For years, the group's been invited participate and they've come to be crowd favorites.

Back to Nationals!

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Karis Jochen ran a 17:07 on the 5,000-meter course at the Foot Locker Cross Country South Regional in Charlotte, N.C., on Saturday to finish second and qualify for nationals on Dec. 8 in San Diego.

Jochen finished just two seconds behind winner Sophie Blake of Burke, Va. This is the second straight year Jochen has qualified for the Foot Locker Nationals.
