Oil Spil
On April 20, 2010 a cement seal of oil failed in the Gulf of Mexico. This is known as the worst environmental disaster in U.S. history. Already this oil leak has took the lives of eleven workers. For 87 straight days oil has leaked. The federal government has estimated about 4.2 million barrels of oil spilled into the Gulf of Mexico. Five years after the spill the evidence still remains unclear. It appears that the Gulf of Mexico id healing itself.

- This has had a negative impact on wildlife.
- This event is killing dolphins.
- Mostly all the oil has settled in the bottom of the ocean.
- Estimated about ten million gallons of oil on the floor.
- According to scientist the oil and residue that still remains is no longer harmful.

How will this affect us?
If this oil spill continues to become worse, this could be deadly to all the wildlife in the ocean. This could ruin a lot of things under the sea. This would continue to make the water dirty and could also affect the people that depend on this water to live.
