BMS Robotic Team sponsor, Mrs. Rogers, asked Mrs. Whitaker to be the contact for the 6th graders who want to try out for the BMS Lego Robotic Team. They have several slots to fill. Mrs. Whitaker has the required packets. Interested students should have good academic and behavior records, and will be required to write an essay. The packet has 3 teacher recommendations.

Kristina Oshiro was the overall top Female Elementary Student!
Madison Grant won the 3D shoot for Elementary School Female.

Buckhorn Middle School Tryouts
- Dance – April 22nd and 23rd is the clinic and tryouts will be on the 25th- 3:15 till 5:00 pm
- Volleyball – April 14th – 16th from 3:30 till 5:30 pm
- Girls basketball – April 21st – April 23rd from 3:30 till 5:30 pm
- Boys basketball – April 17th and 18th from 3:30 till 5:30 pm
All participants must have current physical and signed permission waiver. These forms can be found on our athletic website.

PTA Meeting - April 22.........Very Important Meeting!
Notice from the PTA:
This letter is our formal resolution of Dissolution from the State and Nation PTA. We will be meeting on Tuesday, April 22nd at 6 PM in the RIS Gymnasium. This meeting is when we will be Making the motion of Dissolving the PTA and voting by paper ballots to dissolve or not. This is the night that the State PTA representative will be able to speak on their behalf before the motion is called for a vote.
If the Motion passes, then we will vote on a new set of bylaws for a Parent Teacher Organization and a new board for the PTO. If it doesn't pass, we will be voting on the new board for the 2014-2015 PTA.
Please plan on attending this very important PTA meeting on Tuesday, April 22 at 6 PM.

ACT Aspire Testing
ACT Aspire Testing Dates: April 28-May 7
6th grade only can use calculators on the math portion of the test. All 6th grade students will have access to a calculator. However, you can purchase yours to keep for $2.50. See Mrs. Bieri about purchasing one.
