- Much more!
You can always visit our school website at nisdtx.org/schluter for details!
This is our weekly newsletter that will be emailed to you every Friday during the school year. It contains important information to keep you up to speed on all things Schluter and NISD. Be sure to review it weekly to stay informed. Be on the lookout for next week's update on Friday! See you soon!
Registration
Have you registered your returning student yet?
We can’t wait to welcome your family back!
With just a week left until school starts, we are asking parents to make sure your registration is complete. It must be completed for your child to be assigned a teacher.
To register your returning student:
Log into the Home Access Center (HAC) and select the student you wish to register near the top right corner.
Select the Registration icon toward the top of the page and click the "Update Enrollment" tab.
Click on the word START to access your child's 2021-2022 enrollment form.
Tips To Get Started:
- Registration is mobile-friendly and does not have to be completed on a computer.
- Use your smartphone to snap a photo of a recent (within 30 days) utility bill, lease, or closing papers if you just purchased your home.
- You can upload this proof of residency during registration.
- Annual proof of residency documentation is required for every student in Northwest ISD.

What's Happening in NISD
Free Meal Program Extended for Elementary, Middle Schools
All Northwest ISD students in elementary and middle school will continue receive free breakfast and lunch meals during the 2021-2022 school year! While students in high school will not take part in the same program, they can continue to apply for free or reduced-price meals.
Though meals are free to all elementary and middle school students, we strongly encourage families to continue to apply for the free and reduced-price meal program, as there are further benefits that can help reduce financial hardship. An accurate count of students in need also helps provide the appropriate programs at schools. Anyone who previously applied for the free or reduced-price meal program or believes they may now qualify based on their financial circumstances should still apply. This will also ensure these students receive free or reduced-cost meals for at least the first 30 days of the 2022-2023 school year.
Follow us to stay in the loop!
