School Council Meeting

Parents, administration, and a teacher meet together to plan and discuss various ideas and issues. Your involvement is really important. Many hands do make the work light. School Council supports many initiatives in the school. The big one is the Hot Lunch Program.

The Ideal would be to have 2 parents from each class. We meet approximately 8 times a year. The first meeting is on September 19th 6:30 - 7:30 pm in the school library. Please come out.

Apple Donation

Thank you to Daxton and mom Christa in Brighter Beginnings for the apple donation to Madonna School. Madonna School is an Apple School, we so appreciate the fresh fruit donations. Students are always looking for fruit as an extra snack.

First Reconciliation & First Communion Registration/ Orientation Meeting at OLPH PARISH. MONDAY SEPTEMBER 23 AT 7:00 PM

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated prior to First Communion, both usually when a child is in Grade 2 or older. (its never too late!)

At OLPH Parish we prepare for and celebrate First Reconciliation in the fall before Advent. After Christmas we will begin preparation to celebrate First Communion in the spring.

Parents are required to attend the registration/orientation meeting, and to accompany their child to a retreat. There is also the workbook to complete together at home prior to each sacrament.

PARENT ORIENTATION & REGISTRATION MEETING

for First Reconciliation and First Communion in 2019/20 at OLPH Church

Terry Fox Run, great run everyone! We raised 307 dollars!
