Binkley Read-A-Thon
Read-A-Thon Kickoff Spirit Week
Binkley Maraton De Lectura
Read-A-Thon & So Much More...
Binkley Families,
As we enter the month of March, there are busy and fun times ahead. Our Read-A-Thon kicks off this week. This is a month where we focus on being present, turning off the tech, and reading. With our reading, we fundraise for our Boosters that provide so much for our school. Last year, we raised $10,000 and we read over a thousand books. We track by class, and this is the best time to read to your child, to be read to, and anything and everything in between. Our first goal is have every student registered! See below for details on how to!
Trimester 2 has ended, and spring conferences will be the week of March 13th. All days that week will be shortened with a 1:55 dismissal. Spring conferences are by choice of the teacher or family to review academic concerns, if needed. Report cards will go home March 10th.
Fine Arts Day is coming on March 16th. Click the link below to sign up to help. We are so excited this is back, as we cancelled right as the pandemic hit. This day is completely focused on the arts, and is a favorite of students.
Spring Break has two extra days this year, as we did not use emergency days. We are off March 17th-March 28th.
And when we return, we have Kona Ice coming to school, and will have our big Read-A-Thon Assembly announcing our participation and winners.
So much excitement ahead!
BE Safe. BE Responsible. BE Respectful. BE BINKLEY!
Warmly,
Harmony Harvell, Principal
