TAC’s Boarding Students Meet with PTA Members at Dinner
“Feels like a home-cooked meal from your mother…”
“All you need to do is ask and TAC’s mothers will bring them!”
The routine meeting of the Parent-Teacher Association with the school administrators was held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022.
The "Meals from Mothers" event, a TAC tradition which usually follows the meeting specially organized for boarding students once a month, had to be suspended for a long period of time due to the pandemic.
The first “Meals from Mothers” of the year was held with the participation of all members of the Parent-Teacher Association.
It was a good opportunity to bring the school community together with our boarding students in an enjoyable dinner which was prepared with the support of the PTA and parents.
All of the meals in this dinner were prepared according to the feedback of students. Our boarders showed great interest to various home-cooked meals prepared for them and savored these delicious treats.
The community members had the pleasure of bringing back one of TAC’s boarding school traditions.
We would like to thank TAC’s PTA for their help in reviving this tradition which we needed to suspend because of the pandemic, as well as the parents for their support.
Technology and Innovation Talks
The guest speaker of TAC’s fourth and most recent "Technology and Innovation Talks" was Gökhan Özhan, a computer engineer, cyber security specialist, who currently holds an administrative position at Microsoft. In the event which was joined by students in Artificial Intelligence, Girls in Tech and Robotics Club, Özhan talked about his days at TAC, as well as providing information about cyber security and internship opportunities at Microsoft.
TAC feels privileged to host Özhan on campus and thanks him for sharing his experience with the students interested.

Laughter and Joy of the Village School Students are Back in TAC Campus
It is a tradition in TAC to reach out to our immediate community and reinforce leadership with meaningful projects. It was a great pleasure to see TAC students being reunited with young students of the village school that we have been hosting on our campus for many years and involving in our permanent learning project.
Once again, we are happy to open our school campus to the students in nearby villages. The event which brought together TAC’s community outreach leaders and students of the village school on TAC Campus, started with Science and Makers workshops.TAC students first led a science experiment with them. In the Makers workshop, they produced cars using plastic bottles and balloons.
Our guests, who had a lot of fun during the day, which continued with basketball and football games, had pizza with their hosts in the end. They said goodbye to meet again on April 6.
During the event, our students were very happy that the campus was back to its former lively atmosphere. TAC’s teachers and staff were proud to observe the excitement of our students in an environment cheered with children's voices and smiles.
TAC thanks its students who once again proved their leadership abilities with this meaningful and rewardingl community service initiative.
