Principal's report
Another fun filled week at Riebli! Monday started off with Sonoma Clean water coming to our 5th grade classrooms to learn about how we get our water and to conduct some water tests. Buddy class activities are always happening, but Mr. Detrick and Mrs. Bowman did a “Can you follow my directions?” activity. Students had to build a geometric shape out of multiple colored Geometric shapes. Then, they had to tell their buddy how to make it without showing them. Very Challenging! Third graders also had music class today. It was week 4 of the recorder and they have been taught four different notes. They are also practicing Hot Cross Buns...a lot!
On Tuesday, everyone came dressed up for Picture day. Students and staff pulled out their best clothes and were looking great for pictures. It was also the first Volleyball game for the 4th-6th grade Girls team.
On Wednesday, Kindergarten students came dress in blue. They have been celebrating color week! It was also a great dine and donate at Mary's Pizza Shack. It was so impressive to see all the people having dinner when I arrived for my pick up order.
Today was busy too. 4th graders had a long day on their field trip to Sacramento. They went to the State Capitol and the Old School House. They looked happy and tired when they got home. 2nd grade also went on a field trip. They went to Spring Lake and the Discovery Center. They participated in many activities and learned about the life cycle.
I can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow for walk a thon!!!
We are looking for "Tubbs Fire Heros" to come and read to students on October 9. Please have the heros email Mrs. Todd.
