Read Write Think Web 2.0 Tools and iPad apps
Web 2.0 is term that refers to the second generation of the World Wide Web. Web tools allow user interactivity and collaboration, are user generated and may use social networking. Example are blogs, wikis, Facebook, Twitter, Google Apps, Edmodo and web tools that make it possible for users to run programs directly in a web browser.
One simple web tool that also has iPad apps is Read Write Think .

These apps are available on the iPads: Arcrostic Poem, Alphabet Organiser, Diamante poem, Haiku Poem, RWT Timeline, Theme Poem, Trading Cards and Venn Diagram.
All these interactives are also available on the computers, as well as many, many more

Some examples of the web tools are Compare and Contrast Map, Crossword Puzzles, Fact Fragment Frenzy, Fractured Fairytales, K-W-L Creator, Letter Generator, Persuasion Map, Picture Match,Story map and Word Family Sort.
If students don't complete their work in one class session they can save their work in the online student interactives to finish later, at school or at home.
