The Warrior Way
Respect, Perseverance, Integrity, Responsibility, Compassion
Warrior Life
We have had an amazing start to this new school year. It was been great to see our new and returning students fill the hallways with their bright and smiling faces. Throughout this week our students have been introduced to both the classroom and campus expectations. They were introduced to what the Warrior Way means and its five core values of Respect, Perseverance, Integrity, Responsibility, and Compassion. These values are expected of not only our students, but our staff as well. Our teachers have also begun to introduce our students to our Capturing Kids' Hearts strategies and philosophy. Students will begin to create social contracts within each of their classrooms to establish expectations of how students and teachers are to treat each other. We are very excited about this program and believe that it will continue to build on our culture of positivity and our core values.
Meet the Teacher
Come out and meet your student's teachers on Tuesday, August 27 from 6:00-8:00 PM. We will begin promptly at 6:00 PM and rotate through our regular bell schedule with shortened periods. This will allow you to meet each of your child's teachers and receive important information regarding each class. Everyone will meet promptly at 6:00 in the gym for a welcome prior to going to 1st period.
Warrior Teacher of Week
Warrior Students of the Week
This week we would like to recognize Nya Roper as our 7th grade student of the week. Nya's teacher describes her as having a very positive attitude and light. She is always giving 100% in all that she does.
We would also like to recognize Isabella Aguilera-Salcedo as our 8th grade student of the week. Isabella is new to Warren this year, but her teachers immediately noticed her work ethic and determination in all that she does. She has gone out of her way to meet new students and sit with those that may not have someone to sit with.
We are very proud of these two students and how they display the Warrior Way in all that they do! Great job Warriors!
