Where Eagles Take Flight

October is Here!

We have all heard the saying- "time flies..." No exception here !! It's hard to believe that we have just ended our first six weeks of school! The staff and students are working hard! We are very proud of the things happening here at The Nest. We appreciate all of your support, and it was certainly evident on Grandparents' Day. We are proud to say we had over 100 visitors with us to cheer on our students' performances. This is very representative of the community support we experience here; and our students were beyond thrilled that their invited guests were able to make it.

There are many exciting things happening in October, so be sure to check the dates below. Don't forget about following us on Facebook. Our school webpage has regularly updated event reminders there as well.

Thanks again for supporting our efforts in teaching and learning, and thank you for being our partner!

Happy Fall Y'all,

Amanda Jackson, Principal

Outdoor Education Returns

Thanks to all of our community volunteers, parents and teachers, HEB (outdoor education camp) is back! Our students experienced wonderful learning activities while surrounded by the beautiful hills of Central Texas. They had fun and were served hearty delicious meals. A big thank you to Amanda Krejci, the founder and coordinator of this once-in-a- lifetime opportunity for our students.
