Poverty in Central America is a huge problem. Did you know that people in Nicaragua make about $1 a day? Most people in North America make 200 times that! Poverty in Central America is mostly the effect of corrupt government, low minimum wage, and natural disasters. There are two main types of poverty rural poverty and urban poverty.

How This Can Effect the Lives of the Central Americans
1. One of the effects of poverty is not a lot of money coming in so low GDP.
2. Also not a lot of tourists want to come to a country with a low GDP and lots of poverty.
3. Another effect of poverty is not a lot of people want to go to a place with a high percentage of poverty.
Solution
Solution for Poverty
The solution for poverty is to fix the corrupt government, improve the education of the Central Americans, higher the minimum wage, and much more. There are so many organizations that are trying to improve the lives of the people in Central Americans. We are so blessed and sometimes overlook what is going on in Central America.
