A Message from Superintendent Bradley

2020-2021 School Calendar Changes
At its meeting on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, the Board of Education took action to amend the 2020-2021 school calendar in two areas. They are as follows:
1) Due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the New York State Education Department (NYSED) cancelled the administration of the January 2021 New York State High School Regents Examination Program that had been scheduled for the January 2021 Regents Examination period (January 26-29). These four days will be instructional attendance days for students either through the hybrid or remote models.
2) As a result of Governor Cuomo's micro-cluster strategy involving yellow, orange, and red zones, Monday, November 30 will be a Superintendent's Conference Day for all employees. Students will not be in attendance for hybrid or remote instruction. This day will allow all faculty and staff to prepare for a potential shift to a full remote learning model for all staff and students in the event the Lockport City School District is declared a yellow, orange, or red zone area.
A link to the amended calendar is below.
Thank you for your support and cooperation as we continue to manage the pandemic. Stay safe and be well.
