Immune System
The immune system's function is to protect against diseases. Antibodies identify and neutralize foreign objects such as bacteria and viruses. An antigen is any substance that antibodies try to kill. Active Immunity happens when someone is introduced to a new pathogen and creates an immunity to it, on the other hand Passive Immunity happens when you get an injection to prevent a disease (artificial immunity).
Occurring problems in the Immune System
First off, viruses and bacteria are different. Bacteria can take in antibiotics which kill them but, viruses can't take in antibiotics thats why we don't exactly have a cure for them. Secondly, I'm going to talk about type one diabetes. Type one diabetes is a problem where your immune system attacks the cells in the pancreas the produce insulin. Symptoms of this problem are blurry vision, abdominal pain and many more. Treatments for this are just injecting yourself with insulin.
The Endocrine System
The Endocrine System is the system the produces hormones that regulate metabolism, growth and development. Homeostasis is the state of equilibrium, it plays a big roll in the system by keeping the cell reproduction constant. Negative feedback returns everything back to normal if not in line.
Difference between Type One and Type Two diabetes
Type One : Cells can't produce the insulin needed, normally people experience abdominal pain, blurry vision and many more. To treat this people usually have to inject insulin.
Type Two : Your body doesn't use insulin properly. People will experience excessive hunger and increased thirst, treatments include aspirin and many other medications.
