Principal's Message

Dear Terra Linda Families,

We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Thursday evening this week! In classrooms, you will be able to meet your teacher, drop off school supplies, and fill out a Going Home Plan so we know how your student will go home from school each day. On the playground, students will be able to participate in activities organized by Play.Fit.Fun staff, eat a picnic dinner brought from home, purchase dinner from the Koi Fusion Food Truck (Menu Here), and check out our Resource Fair under the covered play area.

Teachers will be in classrooms from 4:30-6:00pm. At 6:00 they will head out to the playground. To assist with social distancing, please try to arrive according to your last name:

  • Last Names A-F: 4:30-5:00
  • Last Names G-N 5:00-5:30
  • Last Names O-Z 5:30-6:00

Visiting Classrooms

  • A maximum of three families can be inside a classroom at the same time.
  • Families are limited to 5 minutes each inside a classroom.

Restrooms

We will have restrooms available during the event in the module. Access is through the main double doors near the playground.

Outdoor Activities

Outdoor activities on our playground will be available from 4:30-6:30pm. It is important that all students, staff, and families follow BSD rules for gatherings:

  • Masks must be worn both indoors and outdoors unless actively eating or drinking
  • Family groups must remain at least 6 feet apart, especially when eating
  • Students must remain at least 3 feet apart while wearing a mask or 6 feet apart while actively eating or drinking

More details can be found in the August 18 Tiger Tale.
