Summer School
Summer school registration for high school students is now open. Summer school begins on June 14 and runs until July 23. This year classes are hosted online with tutoring opportunities for tutoring during online office hours and limited in-person options Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Benefits to Online Summer School:
- A flexible schedule allows students to complete work at their pace and at a convenient time. This means students can travel, go to camps, work, etc. if progress is made, and work is completed each week.
- No mandatory seat time, grades are based on work completion.
- Teachers host office hours to assist students with work or questions.
- Recordings of instruction and supplemental material available in Teams.
- Courses run six weeks with a schedule to help keep students on track.
- Weekly progress reports to parents/students emailed by the instructor.
- Students keep the device checked out by thier home high school through the summer to complete summer courses (if needed).
