PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear Lincoln Parents and Guardians,
I hope the Class of 2021 and their families enjoyed last night's graduation ceremony as much as Lincoln staff. It may have been a challenging year, but Lincoln students have come out on top and should be proud of themselves and their accomplishments. Good luck to you all as you enter high school and congratulations once again on a job well done!
6th and 7th Grade students will wrap up their school year on June 1 by celebrating with a Field Day! Students should remember to bring water bottles, sun screen, sun glasses, etc., since many of the festivities will be held outside. 6th Grade Field Day is from 7:45am until 10:31am and 7th Grade Field Day is from 12:02pm until 2:45pm. Remote students should come in Door #1 and sign-in. See you there!
Please join me in congratulating the following staff members who have reached milestones in their careers in District 57. Serving a community by educating its youth is honorable and worth recognition. It is my pleasure to recognize these outstanding Lincoln staff members:

COACHES SHAFFER AND BAILEY - GET READY FOR CROSS COUNTRY!
"New School Year! New Cross Country Season!"
Mark your calendars (and phones)! Cross country will start Monday, August 23rd!
What to do to prepare for it over the summer?
1) Get a physical and turn it in by Monday, August 9 (you will need a physical to participate, and we recommend not waiting until the last minute to schedule an appointment - doctor offices are bustling in August)
2) Be productive every day over the summer. Raise your heart rate through activities that are fun for you!
3) Participate in camps at Prospect High School - the cross country and track camps are a great way to meet new friends and the high school coaches!
Feel free to reach out to Steve Shaffer at shaffer@d57.org or Kelly Bailey at kbailey@d57.org with any questions.Have a great summer!
