Child Illness Reminder
Student attendance at school is not only important for academic success, but also helps to build good work habits. While students do get sick from time to time, absences over 10 days in a school year are usually viewed as excessive.
Attendance can be a touchy subject for some, but needs to be taken seriously. A temperature over 100 degrees and vomiting are two symptoms that point to the need to stay home. We would rather have them stay home for 24 hours after a fever to completely heal.
Please also call the school before 9:00 a.m. if your child is sick. Thank you!
Box Tops Challenge Continues
Please continue to collect for our Box Top Challenge! Over the last 4 years we raised several dollars to support school wide activities, technology and field trips. Let’s try to raise even more! The class with the highest total will get an ice cream party at the end of February. Please contact your child's teacher if you are in need of a collection sheet!
Please check out the Two Rivers Facebook Page for more Koenig photos!
