Volunteers Needed for Discovery Day #4:
We are in need of Volunteers to help with Discovery Day on March 15 @ 9:30-1:30pm. Its such a fun day! Please Volunteer even if you can only come for an hour or two. To volunteer contact Leah Ferring at LFerring@cr.k12.ia.us
Reading Buddies:
Volunteers will be reading with students either in a small group or with individual students, depending on the Teachers needs. Your commitment would be 1 hour (or more if you want) a week thru May. Feel free to pass this opportunity on to grandparents, church groups, retirement groups, or anyone who may be interested in volunteering. Thank you for trusting us with your children. Many of you have asked for trainings on behavior over the last few years. This year, our district has created a Parent Learning Partnership! Our staff will offer trainings in the area of behavior. The details are below:
Topic:Behavior 101: This training will focus on an overview of behavior that includes the ABCs of behavior and practical strategies that can be used with all types of behavior and all age ranges. There will also be a question & answer session at the end.
Light dinner provided.

This fun and exciting event will take place on Friday, April 12th at 6:35 PM. Gates open at 5:30 PM, and the Kernels will take on the Burlington Bees - Class A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels.
Tickets are just $8.00, a savings of $3.00 off the regular box office price. - 18th-21st – Spring Break/No School. Full Day Program offered 8am-5pm at JBCH (MUST SIGN UP TO ATTEND and does carry daily fee to attend). Children need to eat breakfast before arriving and should bring a lunch.
- 22nd – No Achievement Academy
- 25th– Summer Day Camp Priority Enrollment begins (must be enrolled in after school program and have all previous/current program fees paid in full to qualify for priority summer enrollment)
