Students were bursting through the doors with excitement when school resumed Tuesday ready to get back to learning. We had a great first week back! Here is a peek at some of the things we were learning.

Keeping Students Safe

We strive to keep all students safe throughout the day and before and after school. Your help with this is greatly appreciated. Please remember that all students being picked up in a car need to be picked up in the pick-up line. If you would like to walk your child to your car, please park in the mini gym parking lot and walk to the walker spot near the bus road. We are trying to eliminate students walking across the pick-up line. Thank you so much!

Infinite Campus App

Have you ever wanted easier access to Infinite Campus to check grades, fees, and other information? There are a couple of different ways to do this.

1. Login to Infinite Campus online. You can get to Infinite Campus by going to our district website, click on the Parents tab, and then click on Infinite Campus. If you need your username and password, please call the elementary school office and Peggy can help you with this.

What is Sweet and Sour Day?

Sweet and Sour Day is a fundraiser for the Del Norte Elementary School PTO. Periodically, they sell suckers and pickles for $0.50. Our next Sweet and Sour Day is Thursday, January 24, 2019. Students need to have money ready at 8:00 am. Suckers and pickles are delivered at the end of the day.

Report Cards

Report cards were mailed or went home in folders last week. If you did not receive your child's report card, please call the elementary office (719-657-4030 ext. 2000).

Updating Student Information

Please remember to call the office (719-657-4030 ext. 2000) and change any phone numbers and/or addresses that change on your child's profile. We want to ensure that we are always able to get ahold of emergency contacts in the case of an emergency.

District Website

It's a great idea to get in the habit of checking the district website. New information is being added all the time. Currently on the elementary school page you can find current and archived newsletters from Mrs. Duda, the Student and Parent Guide, information from the counseling department, upcoming events, and staff contact information.
