A Legend is Born
Muhammad Ali was born in Louisville, Kentucky with the name Cassius Marcellus Clay on January 17th 1942. While he was at a concert his bike was stolen and he met a cop who also gave boxing lessons. This is where Ali's interest in boxing originated from.
The Praiseworthy One
On February 26th 1964 he states that he has joined the Islamic State, and then on March 3rd 1964 he adopts the name Muhammad Ali which was given to him by the leader of the Islamic State, and it means "Praiseworthy One". He is then drafted into the military, but he then rejects service saying "I ain't got no quarrel with them Viet Cong." Ali's claim however was rejected, but when they asked for him to come forward he refused and would not move. He is then found guilty of resisting conscription, and they revoke his passport, and he is banned for three and a half years. Then on June 28, 1971 the Judicial Court reverses the conviction restoring his passport.
Retirement Years
In 1984 announces Muhammad Ali has Parkinson's Disease. He negotiated with Iraq and got 14 soldiers released from prison. He now also supports multiple charities.
