Kelly Starnes, GT Teacher
Kelly has been married for 21 years to another FISD teacher - her husband teaches geography, plus coaches football and baseball, at Wakeland High School. Her oldest son, Cole, is a junior at Wakeland and her youngest son, Cade, is in 8th grade at Griffin Middle School. Her family also has a very spoiled, little dog, Ginger. Because both her sons play sports and her husband coaches, Kelly spends a lot of time at sporting events.
"I enjoy sports a lot, but love to do anything as long as it includes my family," says Kelly. "And I love working with the students and staff at Hosp!"

3rd Grade Learns About Frisco
Catherine Fowler came to Hosp this week to talk to our third-graders about the History of Frisco. Mrs. Fowler works at the Frisco Heritage Museum as the school marm in the Living Village section. The two-hour presentation had students in rapt attention, listening to Mrs. Fowler's fascinating details and viewing the many artifacts which reinforced her lesson. Students and teachers alike enjoyed this enriching experience and we thank Mrs. Fowler sincerely for sharing this wealth of information.

IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR – SUMMER!!!
Summer brings us great weather so we can get out and swim, bike, hike, etc. To help keep you and your child safe this summer, please read the handout sent home yesterday in your child’s folder. It covers a number of safety tips. In addition to this handout, I invite you to visit the Clinic’s website where you’ll find lots of information.
A link to the full site is here: Hosp Clinic Website.
For summer safety tips, click: Hosp Clinic's “FYI” Page or just scan the QRC with your smart phone.
