Battle of the Books (4th and 5th Grades)
We are welcoming Lana Krumwiede to West Maple in the morning on December 13. If you have a copy of her book "Freakling" or other titles written by her, you may bring it on December 13 to be signed by the author.
Copies of all the battle books for this year can be found at your school library, public libraries and at The Book Beat in Oak Park.

Thanks for the Books!
Thank you for your kind donations to the "All for Books" program at our Fall Book Fair. We raised $400. The money was used to purchase 50 popular titles from our book fair which are already in circulation. Scholastic will then donate a matching amount in books to a school in need. We are so blessed to be in a generous community that supports healthy reading habits. Thanks again!
