Computer Hardware

This is how a computer works

A drive is the main storage system of the computer, most computers these days have 2 or 3 drives. For example the school has a 'read only drive' that only teachers can save things into.

A monitor is the screen of your computer. It shows actions from a input, and puts them on the screen, making the monitor a output device.

CPU (Central Prossesing Unit)

The CPU is the brains of the computer, without it you wouldn't be able to play games, watch videos, or even go on the internet!

RAM (Random Access Memory)

RAM is the memory of the computer, it also helps the computer to run quicker and remembers what you did a long time ago. Even if you delete the deleted history!

Read only memory, its a memory chip thats data can only be stored and read, it cannot be changed.
