Lincoln Montessori School
PARENT NEWSLETTER - October 2021
Hello Montessori Parents:
I'm sure you've noticed our construction project is really coming along and taking shape! It's fun to see the progress. The project is expected to be complete in July 2022.
It is that time of year where we need to send layers of clothes with the kids. It tends to be cooler in the morning and warmer in the afternoon and could change without notice!
I also want to remind everyone that there is no supervision outside until 7:50 in the morning - please do not drop off your students before this time as there is no one supervising them.
We are excited to host parent teacher conferences in person this year, we look forward to meeting with you and sharing the progress your child is making. Zoom is also an option if you are unable to make it to school for your child's conference.
I appreciate the opportunity to partner with you in your child's education.
Educationally,
Mrs. Hausmann

What is PBIS?
- Develop ways to prevent behaviors before they happen
- Define and teach students school and classroom expectations
- Acknowledge positive behavior
- Establish consistent consequences
- Use data to make decisions
Here at Montessori, we are working especially hard to teach our expectations and acknowledge positive behavior when we see it. In this way we know we are laying the foundation for a productive and positive school year. We currently recognize students with golden tickets, caught being kind cards, positive phone call home from the principal, and shout outs during the morning meeting.
