WHERE DID YOU GROW UP AND HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TEACHING?
I grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona which was known as “The West’s Most Western Town”! I have been teaching for 31 years (10 years in Arizona and 21 years in California)
DO YOU HAVE ANY CHILDREN OR FUR BABIES?
I have one son who is in his twenties.
My fur babies are dogs. One is a Pomeranian and the other is a Terrier Mix. Both of them are rescues and they are both about 13 years old.
WHAT IS THE BEST AND WORST THING ABOUT BEING A TEACHER?
The best thing about being a teacher is working with the students and watching their knowledge and confidence grow throughout the year (and sometimes two years!)
The worst thing about being a teacher is the endless hours of grading!
WHAT IS ONE THING ON YOUR BUCKET LIST?
One thing on my Bucket List is to embark upon a Great American Road trip to see some of the National Parks that I haven’t visited yet. My list includes Crater Lake, Glacier, Theodore Roosevelt, Isle Royale, and Acadia.
WHAT IS YOUR GO TO GUILTY PLEASURE TV SHOW?
I love watching HGTV and getting ideas for decorating and/or remodeling my house.
