Muraski TEAM Memo
For the Week of November 19th
This is OUR TEAM!
In the Spirit Of Giving...Our Muraski Staff will be helping a family's Christmas!
Thank you for considering to participate in this year's Holiday Giving Project. This project was started by a Muraski Family, Mike and Margaret Klinzing, who wanted to give back at the holidays. It has grown from a few families to this year's goal of over 100 families.
This family consists of a mom and her two children. Mom is working to receive her GED and job training. The description of what exactly we are doing is in the sign up genius, All gifts should be purchased by December 1st and dropped off between 3-6 at PSP Sports in Strongsville (11985 Prospect Rd, Strongsville, OH 44149) with Family #30 clearly marked on the outside. If at all possible, I recommend you attend the wrapping party on that date and during that time frame. It is an amazing vibe and will kick off the Holiday season the right way.
Below is the sign up genius for purchasing gifts.

UDL at Muraski - Finding Solutions to Barriers in the Classroom
Ronetta (IS)
Barrier: Handwritten form of graphic organizers/worksheets is physically challenging
Solution: For students who have physical challenges with writing, I have them type or use the voice-to-text feature in GoogleDocs to complete writing assignments. Completing graphic organizers and worksheets can be difficult for these students. I have recently started using an app called “DocHub” that allows students to type directly on graphic organizers and worksheets that have been scanned as a PDF document.
