Meet and Greet

Jamison will open its doors for all students and families in grades 1-6 on Wednesday, August 28th from 3:30 to 5pm. We look forward to seeing you! Feel free to stop by, even if it is only for a minute or two, and drop off school supplies, meet your teacher, see your classmates, or give the principal a high five!

Yogurt Tree Dine and Donate

Come enjoy a cool treat with old and new friends at Yogurt Tree before or after the Meet and Greet on August 28. Please show the flyer so our school receives the proceeds. https://www.cbsd.org/cms/lib/PA01916442/Centricity/Domain/16/YOGURT%20TREE.pdf

If Not Me, Then Who...

We're looking forward to implementing this year's building wide theme with the students. The students will learn more about being "others-centered."

Student Emergency & Information Form

The deadline for online completion is September 13, 2019.

Thank you for taking the time to update this important data containing pertinent information regarding your child’s health, including permission for emergency care and analgesic administration.

To find this online form, please go to https://www.cbsd.org/Page/26952

If you are having trouble completing this online, feel free to stop by the office during Meet and Greet. We will have computers set up in the office so we can assist you.

First Day of School

On Tuesday, September 3rd, we will welcome all students for their first day of school. All staff members will be wearing our "If Not Me, Then Who..." t-shirts to be easily identified so that we can assist the students. Staff members will take the necessary time to settle the students back into a routine and get them comfortable with their new classmates.

Back to School Jetwear Sale

Show your school spirit with t-shirts, sweatshirts and other items for sale. Our back to school sale runs from August 15-September 15. Click here for the link to our online store. https://jandspromo.com/shop?olsPage=t%2Fjamison-elementary

Playground Update

Our playgrounds are under renovation and are beginning to take shape. The Kindergarten playground is getting new swings and new drainage and mulch. On next year's plan, they will receive a new playground structure.

The first - sixth grade playground is also getting new swings, mulch and drainage, and also some stand alone equipment. A new structure has been ordered but won't be put in until November / December.

Lunch Menus

Aramark at Central Bucks has transitioned to a new digital platform called Nutrislice. All of the menus are on this website as well as all nutritional and allergy information. Here is a link to it which can also be found on the Food Services home page of the CBSD website.

However, the best way to use Nutrislice is to download the free app to your phone, enter CBSD as the location, and all the school’s menus and important nutritional information is available at your fingertips. It is a great way for parents and students to see what is for breakfast and lunch every day.

Please click on this link for more information regarding Nutrislice and the school menus.

Kiss and Drop

We are in desperate need for a few community members to assist with car rider arrival. We are looking for ONE volunteer (Monday-Friday) to assist with drop-off. Please email me, Mr. Croyle, directly if you can lend a hand. Thank you!

Back to School Picnic

We can’t wait to see you at our annual Back to School Picnic on Friday, September 6 from 5pm-7pm. Feel free to bring snacks, blankets, chairs, etc. Enjoy our brand new obstacle course ($1 for 2 runs) and a visit from the Kona Ice Truck (treats for purchase).

Modified Kindergarten Schedule on Delayed Openings

As we plan for the 2019-2020 school year, we are going to implement a change in our kindergarten schedule on weather delay days.

This past year, our AM kindergarten students missed over eight sessions of kindergarten due to 2-hour delayed starts. When we have a 2-hour delay, the AM kindergarten was essentially “cancelled” for that day.

Beginning in the 2019-2020 school year, we will implement a “modified kindergarten” schedule on weather delay days. The schedule will be as follows:

Jamison Kindergarten:

  • AM Students 10:35AM – 12:20PM ("A" School)
  • PM Students 1:30PM – 3:15PM ("A" School)
