How to Search for Scholarships
Scholarships generally fall into two categories: need-based and merit. Most merit scholarships include a talent component for demonstrated talent in academics, athletics, leadership or fine, visual or performing arts. The four major sources of scholarship information are:
- Individual college websites
- Website scholarship databases
- Community Resources
- Naviance

Career News
Throughout the 2016-17 school year, the counseling team will continue to work together with faculty, staff, administrators, alumni, and community members to expand upon our students’ knowledge of, and exposure to, potential careers. We hope to meet regularly with a career committee to develop programs such as job shadowing experiences, internship opportunities, and guest speakers. We are committed to increasing student awareness of different career fields and majors so they feel prepared to move into a meaningful college and/or career path after high school.
