Greeting Lobos! PSA is excited to introduce you to Mrs. Amy Nicholson. Mrs. Nicholson is our Dyslexia Therapist and Reading Facilitator and has proudly served Little Elm ISD students for the past seven years. Mrs. Nicholson is a proud Texan and was raised on a horse ranch in Aubrey, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences from the University of North Texas and received her dyslexia training from Southern Methodist University and Lead Academy.
Mrs. Nicholson loves helping kids learn, especially those struggling with reading, and she enjoys helping students strive to be the best citizens they can be. For Mrs. Nicholson, getting to see kids make a learning connection, or have a “light bulb” moment, is a great teaching reward.
Mrs. Nicholson is married to her wonderful husband, John, of 21 years, and they share two wonderful children: son Tate and daughter Remy. Tate is an aspiring actor and Remy is an aspiring singer/musician. When Mrs. Nicholson is not serving her students, you can find her attending one of Tate’s and Remy’s many weekly performances. Mrs. Nicholson is also a huge animal lover and animal rights activist. She has rescued many animals in her lifetime and currently owns eight pets, including a prairie dog.
PSA is proud to have Mrs. Nicholson as a member of the PSA family!
