Principal's Message
Hello, everyone! I hope that this message finds you well and relaxed. My message today is in regards to gratitude. What a week! As you know, it was Teacher Appreciation Week. I have never seen and felt such gratitude in my career. The out-pouring of gifts, cards, messages, and kind words to our staff has been amazing. I truly felt the LOVE from you and your children to our staff. Thank you very much for that! It really validated our staff for what they do each and every day for children. To me, this is a true representation of how our learning community feels about the critical work that our teachers do. It is refreshing to hear especially when there is a smaller percentage of negativity that we witness on social media.
Also, many thanks to you and your children for all of the cards and pictures that were created for Mr. Kielon and me. I went home this week truly feeling the LOVE and appreciation. I’ve had the biggest smile on my face the last two days due to all of this.
Not to be corny, but I am accused of being so-I am thrilled, flattered, and humbled to be the Principal of English Village. I truly feel blessed to work at such an amazing school! As I always say, we have all of the right people and pieces!!! Thank you very much! Please continue to be our partners in your child’s education. We appreciate you very much! Take care and keep in touch!

On May 18, residents will be asked to decide on a budget to fund the Greece Central School District for the 2021-22 school year, vote on two propositions, and select three Board of Education candidates. The proposed budget keeps the tax rate flat and maintains current programs and services. To learn more about what's on the ballot, visit the district website or read this basic overview of the proposal.
Please note that where you vote may have changed, so pay special attention to your mailed polling location notification postcard or check this website for your current school voting location. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18. Your vote is appreciated.
COVID-19 Updates
If your child has tested positive for COVID, after the incubation period has ended, you must get an evaluation by the child's doctor that clears them for physical activity. Without that note, they cannot participate in gym. The completed form needs to be returned to the school nurse
